Heart and Small Intestine Nutritional Theory
In Daoism we follow the natural way. The natural way is infinite like the seasons in the year that follow an infinite cycle. Spring comes before summer, then fall which gives way to winter and winter back to spring. In Daoism, by following the natural way, we eat according to the seasons. There are certain foods that we will eat in each season and certain exercises that we will practice to cultivate and nourish the specific organs of that season.
In this class you will learn which foods to eat and which exercises to practice according to the seasons. You will then find a whole new level of understanding or your body and who you are.
We will discuss how to promote heart health. What is the role of the heart in the body and which organs are pair with the heart. The exercises to practice that will promote a peaceful and calm heart.
I have based this study on the 5 element theory and also common nutritional knowledge of how to eat for a healthy heart.
This is the season of Fire so lets make sure to calm the fire in your heart.
